A true love's taleA girl sits in the park alone.A true love's tale by PoetofSin
Wishing for more than she did own.
She had dreamed to have love.
But for her it seemed it would come only from above.
The boy she liked had hair of gold.
And always it seemed was very bold.
His eyes she found where of pools of water.
What could she do to make him want her? Soon to her came another boy. This one had looked at her with some joy.
He had hair of brown
and beautiful green eyes that could keep away a frown.
She looked at him and told him "Hello"
Then they conversed and she found that she liked this new fellow. They looked into each others eyes as the sun had set
and then soon, their lips had met.
That girl learned not to find those who possessed good looks. No longer will she judge the cover of a book.
She has learned true love does come from within.
She will now spend her days forever with him.
